Our Story

Alphacrucis is an institution of higher education based in Sydney, Australia. It is a Pentecostal school, just like CTS. We would call it a sister school. It is also affiliated with the Pentecostal denomination in Australia, which is called Australian Christian Churches. It was started in 1948.

Alphacrucis or the scientific name Acrux, is the brightest star in the southern cross constellation. Alphacrucis is the southernmost 1 st magnitude star.

Alphacrucis is Australia’s largest Christian University with over 5000 students. They started training in ministry and theology, but have expanded to offer degrees in education, health and human sciences, and business—through the PhD level. They have 20,000 graduates.

Self Accrediting Authority

Alphacrucis has the status of a self-accrediting institution, which means that they are given the authority to accredit other institutions.

We are becoming what they call a 3 rd party provider of their academic programs. This means that CTS will offer their courses and they will award our students their accredited degree. Actually, it will be a joint degree from both CTS and AC.

Because Alphacrucis University College is approved as a research-based institution by the Australian Education Authority, degrees granted by it will be assessed on an equal footing with other foreign Bachelor's programmes in Belgium. Click here for more information.

In principle, the bachelor's degree should be accepted in all higher education programmes (master's and bachelor's programmes) that admit students not only from a narrow field of study, but from different bachelor's programmes, such as pedagogy or other professional bachelor's programmes.
