Our undergraduate programs

The faculty of CTS has designed a comprehensive curriculum which prepares men and women whom God has called for service. This curriculum contains essential theology, critical history, biblical languages and studies, and other practical subjects to form the mind and shape the character. The English program has options for concentrations in missiology or music while the French program offers counseling. Each year builds on the last, culminating in the Bachelor’s Thesis, which is the student’s crowning achievement. The student is free to select a topic that interests them.

  • As a Seminary we aim to provide you with an environment where you will be able to prepare yourself for future involvement in a range of Christian ministries or employment opportunities where you will use your academic knowledge and practical skills developed while studying here. Specifically, we expect that you will develop the ability to think clearly about theological issues in Christian life and ministry and to demonstrate clear communication skills. This will happen by you becoming aware of the issues related to the development, thought and practice of Christianity and will result in you being able to apply this knowledge and continue in further research according to your own interests and abilities.

  • This course of studies is designed to help the student concentrate his/her studies in the area of Missions as well as obtain adequate and sufficient knowledge in the major fields of Bible and Theology. It enables the students to effectively communicate the Christian vision to a multi-cultural and multi-religious society by being aware of the history and challenges of Evangelical missions as well as to formulate guidelines and strategies for church growth. The degree program also introduces students to personal research in areas in which they are taught through courses, seminars, and assigned theological research papers.

  • The Pastoral Counseling specialization offers in-depth training to better equip the student in this fundamental and complex area of pastoral ministry. These studies include a solid analysis of the basic principles and techniques of the helping relationship, evaluated from a biblical point of view. Specific situations in the fields of education, sexuality and mental equilibrium will be analyzed, as well as the reasons behind all moral responsibility on the basis of Scripture applied to the major ethical questions the pastor encounters in the course of his ministry. Students are also introduced to the fields of mental health, psychopathology, social psychology and group dynamics.
