WORKING AND MINISTRY EXPERIENCE
Meteorology Assistant, Swedish Navy - After completing four months of meteorology studies in the Swedish Airforce, I spent another eight months of practice at a Navy helicopter base near Stockholm.

Youth Ministry, Christian Center (Belgium) - My first experience of extended church ministry. Gave me plenty of opportunities to work with young people, teach and preach.

Youth Ministry, Congregational Church of Wilmington, MA (USA)
For a year and a half I was responsible for leading a youth group of about 25 people. This meant preaching and teaching at youth and Sunday school meetings on a weekly basis.

Summer 2001 English Teacher, Sakata Christ Church (Japan)
Six weeks of teaching English in a foreign context. These weeks helped me improve my teaching skills, and increased my understanding of teaching students from another culture.

Orderly, Karsuddens Mental Hospital (Part-time; Full-time)
Working at a mental hospital has taught numerous things about the world in which we live. Encountering people with schizophrenia, borderline diseases, drug problems, symptoms of clinical depression, broken family situations, anxiety disorders etc., have made me realize that people live in a dark and fallen world in need of the transforming power of the Gospel. But most of all I have learned that Jesus calls us to love and care for people such as these. “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me” (Matt. 25:35).
