Continental Theological Seminary

ACCREDITATION AND VALIDATION OF ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Bible and Applied Theology, Bachelor of Divinity, MTh

Master of Theology in Evangelical and Pentecostal Studies

The establishing of Continental Theological Seminary as an institution of higher education in Europe was first born in the heart of Rev. Alfred Amitié, the founding director of the school.  For more than fifty years now Continental has sent out alumni into more than 70 countries.

It was always a goal of the seminary to be officially recognized and accredited within its European context.  On 25 November 2005 the Belgian Flemish Government gave that recognition and official registration to the school.  Having followed the legislated accreditation process and procedures with the NVAO (Dutch-Flemish Accrediting Association), on 18 October 2007 CTS’s degree of Master of Theology in Evangelical and Pentecostal Studies with Biblical Studies or Missiological Studies specializations obtained recognition and accreditation by the Belgian Flemish Ministry of Education. This means CTS is authorized to issue its own Masters degree which places the seminary on equal footing with other degree granting recognized European institutions of higher education.

In addition to this, the Federal University of Wales, UK has authorized Continental Theological Seminary to offer a prescribed curriculum leading to the following degrees: BA (Hons) in Bible and Applied Theology, BDiv, MTh (Biblical Studies or Missiological Studies).
