CTS Profile
Founded in 1959, CTS is a registered and recognized private institution of higher education.
Since 1959, CTS has provided Evangelical Pentecostal training for students throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South America and Asia. Today, an international faculty from the United States, Africa, Finland, Sweden, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Germany, Canada, Great Britain and Belgium are preparing nearly 200 international men and women for ministry. Annually, more than 30 nations are represented in its student body and school alimni now minister in more than 70 countries.
Facilities
Computer lab and study areas with networked Windows workstations, printers, and Internet access allow students to connect personal computers to the Campus Network. The seminary houses one of the finest Evangelical libraries in Europe. The V.G. Greisen Memorial Library serves as the center for academic endeavors outside the classroom. Currently more than 45,000 volumes in English, Dutch, French and German are in its collections. Additionally, the school subscribes monthly to academic journals, magazines and periodicals. The school facilities also include fitness center and the Charles E. Greenaway Chapel.
Housing
70% of students live on-campus in dormitories or seminary-owned apartments. Those who generally live with parents or relatives or are married students with children already have off-campus housing.
Campus Life
Throughout the school year various special events, concerts, banquets, and a variety of student activities provide a rich social environment for students. Being in close proximity to Brussels, the capital of Europe, a variety of off-campus cultural activities are easily accessible.
- Student Activities
Student activities abound at Continental. Activities include all-school social nights, dorm socials, sporting opportunities, banquets, and various trips to conferences, seminars and historical sites in and around Belgium. - Student Association Council
The Student Association Council offers students the privilege and responsibility of serving the student body by coordinating activities and representing students' needs to the administration and faculty. In the spring of each academic year the student body elects the council. - Student Missions Association
The Student Missions Association consists of a student leadership team and a faculty sponsor. The association seeks to inspire missionary interest among the student body by organizing the annual Missions Convention, collecting missions faith promises, coordinating missions chapels, and summer missions endeavors. - Student Ministry Committee
The Student Ministry Committee consists of a student leadership team and a faculty sponsor. The committee coordinates all aspects of the student ministry program including weekly student ministries, evangelism outreaches, and Student Ministry Week. - CTS Singers
CTS Singers is the seminary's audition choir. Annually the group travels around the Brussels and surrounding area, giving concerts in churches and at youth conventions or congresses. Once a year the Singers make an extensive tour in Europe promoting the school.
